Greetings –
We are happy to report that our American cyber-consultant was discharged from Kentigern Memorial last Monday and has spent the week in peaceful convalescence at his home in [unplottable – who do you think we are?].. Though he was initially enthusiastic about spending his medical leave immersed in work, he quickly discovered that the healer’s orders to avoid complex thought and bright images were founded in care rather than conspiracy. He reports, with sorrow, that his capacity to interact with both ‘screens’ and transcribed government files was greatly reduced during the first two weeks of May. Nevertheless, he reports a full recovery and has spent the past two days diligently transcribing and uploading physical files to our internet database.
Out of respect for our American’s head, our London team has agreed to an altered timeline for the release of materials filed under ‘TRANCHE 2’. Folder 2, currently being processed, will be released on Tuesday, 21 May. The remaining folders will be released every following Tuesday through 25 June. Though we value the truth above all, we must respect the health and safety of those with the vigilance to protect it.
Folder 2.2: 21.5.24
Folder 2.3: 28.5.24
Folder 2.4: 4.6.24
Folder 2.5: 11.6.24
Folder 2.6: 18.6.24
Folder 2.7: 25.6.24
A note to the concerned: we do not currently suspect any breaches in security or anonymity resulting from the assault upon our cyber-consultant. We have no reason to suspect that his memory was altered or recorded, or that any materials were taken from his files (digital or otherwise). He reports that he experienced the symptoms of a confundus charm while on an afternoon jog, quickly followed by a hit to the head that may have been brought about by a stunning spell. He awoke in a Kentigern’s hospital bed approximately two hours later with no memory of the incident. No witnesses have come forward, and the perpetrator, if there was one, is unknown. Whether this was a random act of violence, an accident, or a warning may never be known.
Thank you for your messages of concern and support. The truth will continue it’s steady drip next week, but for the impatient, however, we offer this excerpt from to the updated edition of Lee Jordan’s A People’s History of Magic, coming this July:
L. Jordan, ‘The Unspoken Generation: Peace Times, War Crimes, and the 1980s’
More soon.
Warmly,
The PensieveLeaks Team
