Please see to the following. I will be out on Ministry business 27 July through 2 August and will not be available for communication via owl or Floo Network. I will return to Hogwarts on the 3rd and will be available then to discuss staff trainings and other August work. Do find some time for a vacation before then if you can.

• Secure registration of cerberus – license via Kettleburn, NOT R.H. (Macnair in DRCMC could be a help in case of roadblocks; avoid Diggory unless you desire red tape.)
• DMAC displeased with recent hi-jinks in Little Whinging; when I suggested a ‘deluge’, I did not expect it to be taken literally. Let’s back off for now on the post, owl and otherwise. I will send a representative to deliver the letter personally – perhaps R.H.? Please advise.
• Transfer of the ‘article’ planned for 1.8.91 – prepare for reception. Identifying an appropriate storage chamber with Severus later today; he will inform you of the location. We will discuss security measures as a staff on the 5th. Prepare liability papers and privacy waivers for prompt distribution.
• No word yet from Q; I expect he will arrive unannounced within the next week. If you receive his contract by post, please file promptly. No need to prepare an emergency hiring committee – I am confident that he will return.
• Weather illustrations in the Hall have been somewhat lagging; peculiar weather patterns as of late. Assist Flitwick if necessary.
• Tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy defaced; correct prior to student arrival.
• See attached letter from DMGS – Bagman needs players, please address (any 5th-7th years? the sooner we appease him, the better).
